The Exchange Club of East Dallas, in partnership with the Lions club, provide free eye exams and eyeglasses for the students in all of our East Dallas schools. Here, On March 26, the van was parked outside of JL Long where 34 students ended up needing glasses.

At JL Long Middle School, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to grow, compete, and succeed—but outdated facilities are holding us back. We’re launching a bold initiative to renovate and expand our locker rooms and training facility, creating a space where all students can participate in athletics and take pride in their school.

Overall, this was, yet again, a huge success! The kids are always so excited to get their new coats, even the reluctant fifth graders give a smile when they find one that fits in a color/style that they like.
